“Parental love is the only love that is truly selfless, unconditional and forgiving.”- Dr T.P.Chia
It’s that time of the year when we take some time off our busy schedules, show love and appreciation to our parents and even grandparents by spending quality time renewing the bonds and have fun!
To celebrate Mother’s Day, we have lined up a day filled with games and laughter on 11 and 12 May. Mother and child pairs were encouraged to participate in our games to win prizes and have fun. It was also heartwarming to see many onlookers cheering for the participants.
We also partnered with Mediacorp’s top three Chinese radio stations – YES 933, LOVE 972 and Capital 958, to hold a Super Mum Contest where mother and child contestants competed in a series of fun challenges to win the crown of Super Mum and prizes worth over $1,000! It was truly a memorable Mother’s Day for these contestants.
We have also invited the masseurs from the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) to provide a 10 minutes back massage for shoppers who spend a minimum of $30 in a single receipt. Mummies can also be pampered with a free eyebrow trimming session or express gelish manicure session by Kawaii Nails when they spend $20 or $50 in a single receipt respectively. Many Daddies can be seen enjoying the back massage while waiting for the Mummies to trim their eyebrows or do their nails.
From 3 to 16 June, shoppers got a chance to walk away with Compass One vouchers or other prizes as they participated in our atrium games.
The masseurs from SAVH have once again joined us during this period to provide back massage for shoppers who have met the spending requirement. A Touch Art booth was also set up by SAVH to showcase the various handicraft items done by their visually impaired clients. Big thanks to shoppers who have supported these activities!
