“Every day is Halloween, isn’t it? For some of us.” – Tim Burton

It’s officially the start of the spooky season, and it’s time to have some spooky fun and treats to celebrate Halloween.

Start your Halloween on an extra-sweet note and put all of these seasonal doughnuts to the test. Meet Kreepy Pumpkin, Peculiar Kitty and Khostly Reaper 🎃 🐈‍⬛ 👻 under the Monster Harvest Halloween Collection from Krispy Kreme (#01-46). Adding more flavour to the collection are the joyful mess, introducing Mr Dotty with Cookie Butter Kreme coated, fresh baked speculoos cookies, taken hot out of the oven and cooled until they are gently crumbled to make even textured and scrumptious cookie crumbs, with a sweet, soft treat of mini marshmallows. Next is Ms Messy that is glazed with silky white chocolate with perfect thickness of the coating, topping up with dark chocolate sticks that have the perfect combination of sweetness and bitterness, and finishes with cocoa powder that adds deep chocolate flavor to the doughnut.

A spooktacular treat from Starbucks (#01-06) named Spook-a-ccino👻 is what you need to chill your spine. Blended with chocolatey mocha sauce and java chips topped with whipped cream dripping with strawberry sauce and a spooky pumpkin chocolate topper, Spook-a-ccino is a perfect cooling drink to quench your thirst. You can also check out their Halloween merchandise collection that is filled with cute cats, pumpkins, glow-in-the-dark drinkware and more for the spooky season!

Spice it up with some seriously scary horror movies if you’re into that kinda thing. These classics movies are a good mood settler…but don’t say we didn’t warn you!

For a classic ghost story, check out “A Chinese Ghost Story 倩女幽魂 (2011)”. The story took place in an ancient mountain village, where there were spirits and tree monsters living on Black Mountain and these demons were always engaged in slaughter and bloodshed. When Yan Chi Xia (Louis Koo) was still young, he chose Black Mountain to practice and has experienced many dangerous battles with demons. His sword became more fearful, and he gets more powerful and confident as he overcomes all the spirits and monsters until the day he met Nie Xiaoqian (Crystal Liu Yi Fei) and their sad story begins.
Next, get ready to snap your fingers with this classic comedy horror movie “The Addams Family (2019)”. Funny, outlandish, and completely iconic, The Addams Family as the kookiest family redefines what it means to be a good neighbour.

If you prefer psychological horror/mystery movie, “The Grudge (2020)” will be your next favorite classic movie. It is about a curse born in Japan and is simultaneously unleashed in the U.S. Those who encounter it are consumed by its fury and met with a violent fate.
